What are Hair Weaves?

Hair weaves can completely change your hairstyle or enhance your existing look. Hair weaves are a form of hair extensions.

The following is a list of items which are required for hair weaving:

• You need a thick thread. Ideally one that matches the color of your existing hair. This will be used to securely attach the hair weft.
• A long needle maybe curved
• Special hair glue for hair weaves. This glue will come out after washing with a special shampoo and conditioner. This will not affect your real hair
• Hair extensions of your choice. This can be real 100% human hair or synthetic hair. Its best to discuss with the stylist how much hair extensions is required for the look you are after. Depending on the weaving technique, the weaver can either use hair wefts or individual strands. Ponytails are another form of hair extensions which can be added to your hair. The colors of your hair extensions to be weaved can range from "realistic" colors, such as red, black, brown and blonde, to other colors.
