If you sweep under the couch and could make a new puppy with the hair balls you collect, you may have a pet hair problem. Here are a few guidelines for minimizing pet hair messes in the house — or for cleaning them up. A daily brushing for very furry dogs (such as huskies, shepherds and collies), or a weekly brushing for less furry dogs will go a long way toward preventing hair from covering furniture and floors in your house. To remove hair from the couch or other upholstered furniture, try donning a pair of rubber gloves, dampening them with water and running your hands over the fabric. Regular laundering will remove most pet hair from clothes. read more
