Where Do you buy Extensions?
Most beauty supply retail stores like Sally’s offer hair extensions for sale. These hair extensions may be human hair or synthetic.  You can do a search online to find quality
hair products from stores all over the county.
But, the most important items is the quality of the hair that your purchase. Different vendors offer different quality of hair product.  There are some Hair care products that can be classified as good, bad and downright ugly.
When you are ready to purchase a hair product for hair extension, your neighborhood hair stylist who specializes in these types of products is probably your best resource. Depending on the method that is used to apply the hair extensions, the quality of hair that you choose is of the utmost importance.’
Most hair stylist will not use synthetic hair to perform any type of hair extension. Synthetic products are great for a temporary solution to a hair dilemma but for long-term good looks and versatility, the synthetic products just do not do the job.
The object of a professional hair extension is to have your hair looking natural. Buying the right type of hair is critical. In the retail beauty supply store you can ask for help in matching the color, texture and length to your hair and to the outcome that you want.
There are hair extension products that are specifically manufactures for different races. The hair products will be chemically treated to reflect the textures and colors of ethnic group. The products are sometimes sold in specific areas. But the hair products for Caucasian and African American are not the same and should not be blended together. Caucasian hair products for hair extensions may not be unavailable in all beauty supply locations. Ask if the store can order the color and texture of your hair.
The retail beauty supply houses stock mostly extension hair for Asian and African American clients. The hair for African Americans and the Asian market is totally different than the hair that should be purchased to add hair length and volume to a Caucasian client.
The manufacturing process for human Hair is chemically treated to bring out certain qualities. Most human hair manufactures purchase hair from the Asian countries. This hair is coarse and is not the premium hair that some hair stylist likes to work with.
The premium hair comes from cold climates. This hair is considered virgin because the hair has never been subjected to any chemical processes. This hair is very expensive and is not usually available to the general public. Some of the vendors contract specifically with only certain high level salons for these products.
